WE WILL NOT REPLACE EGGS THAT TRAVEL SLOW IN THE MAIL, WE CAN'T CONTROL THE MAIL! WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER, YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR CONDITIONS.
When you place a hatching egg order, we will contact you through email and set up a shipping date with you. We ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We can safely fit 14 eggs per box. We require a minimum of 6 eggs. Mix any breeds we have available.
New to the farm spring of 2025, we now have a line of White Bearded Crested Silkies. Beautiful pearly white fluff balls, with ears as blue as sapphires. Who could resist this little lap chicken?
Silkies don't require a large amount of space and do well in a small area. They lay fairly well but will go broody. Which is nice if you would like a hen that can hatch eggs. Silkies are super sweet, docile, friendly little birds. If you're searching for the perfect pet, look no farther, I guarantee you'll fall in love!
I wasn't sure I would like silkies until I gave them a try. My first thought was this fluffy puff ball will never survive our sloppy, muddy farm. You've got to be one tough bird to survive our Southern Illinois stifling hot summers and frigid windy winters. Well, these tough puffs have taught me a thing or two about Silkies. They can withstand our terrible wet winters and our steamy hot summers and take them with good stride. They're tough little birds, so don't count them out, give-um a try.
